The Baby Beanie in Double Sunday is a classic ribbed hat with a gathered edge. It's knitted from the bottom up with Italian knitting for extra elasticity, and fits snugly on the head - perfect for little ears on the go!

Product information

The hat is knitted from the bottom up with Double Sunday, or with 2 strands of Sunday.
Cast on with Italian cast on for an elastic edge. Then knit the hat in rib with a folded edge. Turn the piece and knit rib with decreases at the top. Italian cast on and rib make the hat elastic and fit well on the head.

Knitting Needles: Knitting Needle no. 3½
Tension: 28 sts (slightly stretched) and 28 rnds ribbing with 1 strand Double Sunday or 2 strands Sunday and 3.5 mm ndls = 10 x 10 cm
